My work is to support the birth person emotionally and physically as they adjust with a new born baby. A consultation will be set up to discuss postpartum expectations and questions in seeking a postpartum doula. A postpartum plan and hiring a postpartum doula before baby arrives sets up a smoother transition and guarantees availability. Within the first two weeks postpartum is a great time to begin with a Doula.
My postpartum support is personalized for each family to provide support and positive reinforcement during the fourth trimester. Services include meal preparing , nourishment, tidy up home space, support in infant feeding, New born care and assistance. Optimizing the infant environment as needed, Information, education and resources to trusted professionals including lactation consultants, chiropractor or pelvic therapist. Emotional support, space for self care of birth person, space for yourself to process the birth, encouragement and companionship. Most importantly guidance to find what works best for you and your family.
As your postpartum doula I am committed to you and your family, our time together is honest and respected.
Once we have met and agreement has been made we will stay in contact and meet again at 38 weeks prenatal to discuss the postpartum plan.
Pricing and hours
My rate is $35 an hour at a minimum of 8 hours.
